Blockout layer prevents shining through
The material is very opaque. Between front and back of a blockout advertising banner there is a black blockout layer. This opaque blockout liner prevents the two sides of the print from shining through to the other side. Unlike other banner materials, blockout material is heavy. It has a grammage of 800 grams per m2. The high weight of the blockout banner material creates a pleasant tactile sensation, which leads to a great overall quality.
Blockout advertising banners are not only effective outdoors and can attract prospects. They also prove extremely effective inside a building. For example, these advertising banners can hang freely from the ceiling in exhibition halls and other showrooms or in corridors. For this, however, the banners must be hemmed and equipped with eyelets so that they can be attached. But blockout advertising banners are also very suitable for presentations in shopping centres or department stores.
A blockout advertising banner is made of an extremely durable material and can therefore be used long-term. This material is just as flame-retardant, UV-resistant and weatherproof as a frontlit banner.
In principle, the print type for blockout advertising banners can be freely chosen. (latex or solvent print). However, banners printed with odourless latex ink are generally more popular than those produced using the solvent printing process. By using digital technology, perfect photo print quality can be guaranteed. Blockout banners can also be printed in CMYK mode in several colours and are of course UV-resistant. The printing inks used in latex printing are environmentally friendly. The material properties are impressive: eyeletable, weldable, tear-resistant and of course available with B1 certificate.
